Barack Hussein Obama Jr is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American to hold the office. In January of 2009, the US presidential inauguration was held for him. He sweared with setting the bible of Abraham Lincoln. In Washington D.C., many people gathered to see Obama.

Koizumi created a sensation in 2001.

In April 2001, the election of president was held in the Liberal Democratic. Because a prime minister, Mori Yoshiro resigned. Koizumi Junichiro run for the election with Hashimoto Ryutaro, Aso Taro, and Kamei Shizuka. Koizumi run with support of Mori group, Kato group, and Yamazaki group. Tanaka Makiko who was popular between housewives helped him.

At first, citizens thought that Hashimoto was strong. However colorful fight of election was unfolded by Koizumi with Tanaka Makiko. Koizumi said he broke the Liberal Democratic. Also, he said pople criticized his politics were resistant force. Like this he harangued, and about ten thousand people gathered in his speech.

On the 24th of April, Koizumi was elected as to be the President of the LDP. On the 26th of April, He was become a prime minister. When a cabinet headed by Koizumi started, the approval rating showed 87.1%. Also, the worst rating was 78%. In other words, he was the most popular prime minister since the WW2 was end.

The Sydney Olympic in 2000

The Sydney Olympic was held in 2009. It was tha last olympic in 20 century. In the Southern Hemisphere, It was hold after forty four years of separation Melbourne Olympic. As it was held in 2000, another name was millennium olympic.

Opening ceremony was held on september 15th. In the entrance parede, Japanese players were wearing frags of rainbow color. In Europe and America, rainbow color is recognize as symbol of gay. So European and American seemed to think all Japanese players were gay. Also South Korean and North Korean players paraded with unified frag together. Finally, Easten Timor players who were freed from Indonesia paraded with the clapping　of the audience.

Tamura Ryoko got gold medal at judo. She realized hers long-cherished wish. Also Nomura Tadahiro and Inoue Kousuke got gold medal too.
