African Union was adopted in the summit in 2000 because of the shift from Organization of African Unity to African Union. The ratification of each country was waited for, and it came into effect in 2001. African Union started formally through the Durban summit in July, 2002.
African Union is a regional and integrated session that started for the achievement of prevention of dispute.
